Is it because I genuinely want to own less, live minimally and be in control of myself?

Or is it that Stoicism is an easy way out? An easy way to bitch out of pushing myself to achieve more, be more and do more…

Do I actually want all the things general society strives to get - the money, the cars, the holidays, the ‘Jones’ life’?

Which is it? And are you ashamed to admit it if Stoicism isn’t the way?
